Study On Ecological Function Zoning Of Nanji Wetland Based On Ecological Asset Assessment

Ecological assets were born with dual attributes of nature and economy,and are the key node between human society and natural environment.Ecological assets provide the basic guarantee for the survival and development of human beings.The accounting and evaluation of ecological assets could expand our understanding of the value of ecological environment,and also contribute the management of ecological system.In this study,Nanji Wetland Nature Reserve was taken as the research object.Basic on remote sensing image data,on-the-spot investigation data,literature data,etc.of Nanji wetland ecological assets,we established the accounting index system to calculate the value of four categories and eight categories of ecological assets.Then,we measured the quality of Nanji wetland ecological assets by REEI and ecological assets.Finally,we divide the functional zoning of Nanji wetland based on the quality of ecological assets and biological assets.The results show:(1)Ecological assets value of Nanji wetlandThe total value of ecological assets of Nanji wetland was 18.87 billion yuan.Regulation service was the major service function,80.86%.Support service was a typical service function,with the value of 879 million yuan(4.68%).Supply service value was 2335 million yuan(12.37%);cultural service value was relatively low,with the value of 395 million yuan(2.09%).The order of ecological assets of Nanji wetland was:climate regulation>flood regulation and storage>water supply>biodiversity protection>leisure tourism>oxygen release>carbon fixation>water purification>food supply.(2)Quality of ecological assets in Nanji wetlandThe quality of land ecological assets in Nanji wetland could be classified as poor,medium,and good,make up 21.61%,27.13%and 22.15%of the total land area,respectively.The quality of disklike lake ecological assets was mainly classified as poor(86.92%),while excellent and good make up 5.99%.Nanji wetland ecological assets index was 105.42,land ecological assets index was 60.84(57.71%),disklike lake ecological assets index was 44.58(42.29%).Most of water ecological assets index are ranged from 20 to 30 and were the best ecological assets,followed by marsh grass ecological assets,for 10 to 20.(3)The spatial variation of ecological assets of Nanji wetlandBasic on the result of ecological assets value and the ecological assets quality,we found a significant spatial variation in the ecological assets of Nanji wetland.Water exhibited the highest value of the ecological assets,and was the largest land type in the research area(62.13%);followed by marsh grass(28.91%),which mainly distributed between intertidal zone and bare land.The highest ecological asset index appeared in the north and the midwest of the study area,because the north and the west are mainly water,where had less human activities;the ecological asset index was low in the south,because of the villages,where had frequent human activities;the ecological asset was very high for the East Lake,because it closed to the main lake of Poyang Lake.(4)The protection of areas with high ecological asset indexWe performed spatial overlay analysis the comprehensive assessment score map of ecological assets and habitat quality,with local residents livelihood and human activities,Nanji wetland was divided into three levels of ecological areas:extremely important area,important area,and general important area.The results show that the most important area was coincident with the highest ecological asset index area,the ecological asset index was positive correlatives with the quality of regional habitat.Meanwhile,The most important land use type was disklike lake,which should be priority protected.calculating and evaluating the ecological assets of Nanji wetland,and analysising the importance of ecological functions of Nanji wetland by spatial superposition method.The spatial heterogeneity of value and quality distribution of Nanji wetland ecological assets was revealed,which can be used as a theoretical reference for scientific and reasonable development of Nanji wetland.
