The use of lubricanting oil is common,especially in civil and military industries.Poly-α-olefin synthetic oil has the advantages with good properies of low pour point,high viscosity index,low volatility and high oxidation stability,which can replace mineral lubricating oil to producing greater economic benefits.Oligomerization of 1-decene catalyzed by EtAlCl2 and haloalkanes to prepare oligomer was studied in this paper.The amount of EtAlC12,the kind of haloalkanes,the kind of solvents,the reaction time and temperature were investigated.The oligomer obtained was analyzd by GPC,1H NMR,13C NMR and IR methods.It was shows that the poly-α-olefin oil with high viscosity index was synthesized when the optimum conditions were the 750μmol of EtAlCl2,CHCl3 of haloalkanes,5mmol of CHC13,60℃ of temperature,and 2h of reaction time.And the yield of the oil is 85.90%.The kinematic viscosity at 40℃ and 100℃ is 70.84 mm2/s and 11.28 mm2/s respectively,the viscosity index is 152.The reaction mechanism is that EtAlCl2 and CH2Cl2 to form[C2H5AICl2:Cl2CH2].The C-Cl bond of CH2Cl2 is broken to form Lewis acid C2H5AICl3-,which can catalyze the oligomerization of 1-decene to form poly-α-olefin oil.Oligomerization of 1-decene catalyzed by EtAlCl2/haloalkane/transition metal compounds(VCl3,TiCl3 and CrCl3)to prepare oligomer was studied in this paper.The oligomers is influenced with the decrease of Al/V molar ratio.The yield 94.18%of oligomer was obtained when Al/V molar ratio is 750/10.The kinematic viscosity at 40℃ and 100℃ is 66.73 mm2/s and 11.05 mm2/s respectively,the viscosity index is 158.The reaction mechanism is that stable active components with bimetallic dichloro bridge to catalyze the oligomerization of 1-decene to produce poly-α-olefin oil.Oligomerization of 1-decene catalyzed by AlCl3 and transition metal compounds(VC13,TiCl3 and CrCl3)to prepare poly-α-olefin oil was studied in this paper.The kind of metal compounds,the amount of AICl3,Al/V molar ratio and reaction temperature were investigated.The oligomer obtained was analyzd by GPC,1H NMR,13C NMR and IR methods.It was shows that the poly-α-olefin oil with high viscosity index was synthesized when the optimum conditions were the 750μmol of AlCl3,VCl3 of metal compounds,30 of Al/V molar ratio,and 60℃ of temperature.And the yield of the oil is 95.04%.The kinematic viscosity at 40℃ and 100℃ is 47.03 mm2/s and 8.11 mm2/s respectively,the viscosity index is 146.
