Study On The Application Of Nano Titanium Dioxide In Cosmetics

In addition to the advantages of general nanomaterials,nano-TiO2 has the advantages of photocatalytic activity,ultraviolet absorption,antibacterial property,stable chemical properties,transparency,low cost and good biocompatibility,and is widely used in environmental protection.medicine,energy,paper,paint,ceramics,plastics and cosmetics,etc.For the application research of nano-TiO2 in cosmetics,it is only concentrated in sunscreen cosmetics,and its UV protection effect is studied.There are few researches on basic cosmetics such as lotion,essential oil,gel and lotion,and it is applied in cosmetics.The antibacterial effect of the research has not been reported.This topic firstly carried out the characterization and performance study of nano-TiO2,and then explored its application in four cosmetics such as lotion,essential oil,gel and lotion,mainly exploring its antibacterial and ultraviolet protective properties,which is nano-TiO2 in cosmetics.It would provide the foundation for industrial application.In the characterization and performance study of nano-TiO2,the nano-TiO2 used in this experiment is a mixture of anatase and rutile.The diameter of the particles is about 55 nm and the dispersion is uniform.It has a good broad-spectrum antibacterial property,and there is a certain competition between organic matter and microorganisms,which leads to a greatly reduced antibacterial effect.Nano-TiO2 mainly absorbs ultraviolet rays in the UVB region,and the medium-effect protection can be achieved when the content is more than 0.40%.For the application of nano-TiO2 in cosmetics,in addition to being incompatible with Carbomer 940,nano-Tio2 does not affect its physical and chemical properties when added to lotion,essential oil,gel or emulsion,and has excellent broad-spectrum antibacterial properties.Sexual and UV shielding properties,the addition of nano-TiO2 lotion and essential oils showed excellent anti-corrosion effect,and the anti-corrosion effect of the emulsion was barely passed.The feasibility of applying the nano-TiO2 in cosmetics was verified and provided a laboratory basis for its industrial application.
