"Fish Says"—The Application Of Paper-cut Art In Ceramic Decoration

Chinese traditional culture has a long history,extensive and profound,among which the folk paper-cut art is a visual cultural symbol cultivated by the working people in the long-term social life practice,with unique Chinese national characteristics and self-restraint.With the state's attention to the protection of intangible cultural heritage,paper-cut art also needs to be constantly improved in the inheritance and innovation of modern national culture,and its artistic characteristics are widely absorbed and applied by other art forms.Fish decoration has been widely used in paper cutting art,with festive,auspicious meaning and unique decorative.This creation takes ceramics as the carrier,absorbs the expression form of paper-cut art,and takes "fish pattern" as the creation theme.It tries to combine the connotation of traditional national culture with the spirit of the contemporary era through the unique artistic language of folk paper-cut,so as to seek new ways and ideas of artistic design and creation through artistic practice.In the study,firstly,the paper cutting art is briefly elaborated,and the typical cases of paper cutting art applied to modern ceramic decoration art are analyzed.In combination with the art form of paper cutting,the paper explores ways to apply fish pattern elements to the art of ceramic decoration.Secondly,the paper makes an in-depth study of the decorative language and characteristics of paper-cut art and ceramic decorative art.Finally,the paper expounds the creative ideas and production process of the series works of "Fish Theory".Through this artistic design creation practice,explored the possibility of combining paper-cut art with ceramic decoration,enriched the ceramic art creation practice experience.I hope that on this basis,we will continue to explore new ideas of combining national traditional art with modern design.
