Hydrogen production by electrolysis of Hydrogen Sulfide is an efficient method.This method is use ferrous and ferric sulfate solution as an intermediate recirculation agent to absorb H2S of the exhaust gas and producing elemental sulfur.The agent absorbed H2S would sent to electrolytic cell for regeneration and then be recycled,while hydrogen produced.The system is mainly composed of an oxidation absorption reactor and an electrolytic reactor.In this paper,the kinetics works of the absorption rate of acidic iron liquid in hydrogen sulfide and the absorption reaction process are studied.A theoretical model is established.Through the continuous change of reaction conditions,the reaction conditions of the most suitable absorption liquid were test by this experiment.It is key to optimize the absorption rate.Such as Gas-liquid ratio,space velocity,reaction temperature,pressure,acidity,concentration of Fe3+and concentration of Fe2+were test successively to find suitable reaction conditions:gas-liquid ratio of 1/10;gas-liquid flow rate of 55/550L/h;Fe3+0.6 mol/L;Fe2+0.1 mol/L;H+8 mol/L.After selected appropriate conditions,then make the absorption liquid has joined the OP-10 flotation agent,lanthanum nitrate and heteropolyacids to strengthen the absorption of hydrogen sulfide absorption rate.This action is to investigate the absorption liquid absorption rate to have a further improve.According to the reaction parameters,temperature and pressure conditions,a system model of hydrogen sulfide absorption was established.After setting simulate size of hydrogen sulfide bubbles by observation,the reactor section was calculated.The results show that absorption of liquid-gas reactions by established theoretical equation at the experimental conditions are very approximated with the results obtained by experiments.In addition,the simulation of different bubble sizes and different absorption heights was perform,which has a certain guiding significance for the future reactor design.
