At present,the application of horizontal wells is more and more widely.Horizontal well completion engineering links drilling engineering and production engineering,and it occupies a very important position in oilfield production.The optimization of completion methods and design of parameters are very important parts of the completion engineering.In completion design,multiple parameters and indicators are needed to be considered.Therefore,it is very practical to establish a method for optimization of completion methods and design of parameters for multi-parameter and multi-index in horizontal wells.In this paper,the methods for the optimization of completion methods and design of parameters will be established.In the optimization of horizontal well completion methods,by analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of current horizontal well completion methods,a flow chart method that takes geological factors into consideration is established to conduct primary elections.On this basis,an improved Vague set method is used to achieve optimization of completion methods under multiple indicators such as economics and technology,and corresponding software is developed for application.In the design of horizontal well completion parameters,set up a horizontal well reservoir-wellbore integrated coupling model.Then,a productivity model,a casing(liner)strength model,and a sand control(sand prediction)model were established for each of the four well completion methods: perforation completion,slotted liner completion,open-hole gravel pack completiong,and inside-casing gravel pack completion.Completion parameters are analyzed for sensitivity.Based on this,a multi-parameter and multi-index completion parameter design method is established by orthogonal test design,and software is compiled.Finally,an application software is used to analyze the completion parameter design example and obtains good application results.
