The Study On Project Finance Mode Of Transnational Gas Pipeline

With the development of the global economy and the continuous increase in energy demand,the issue of the environment and climate change has increasingly attracted the attention of the international community.As clean and efficient energy source,the status of natural gas in global energy consumption is improving.Pipeline transportation is currently the main method for the global natural gas trade.The construction of transnational natural gas pipelines is continuing.The scale of investment continues to increase,and the sources of funding and financing models also show diversified trends.The initial investment cost of transnational natural gas pipelines is huge,and adopting the corporate financing model will bring great risks and financial burdens.The transnational natural gas pipelines usually adopt the mode of project financing,but the financing situation of different projects is very different.First this article studies the concept,development,organization structure,and financing model of project financing systematically,and then specifically analyzes the characteristics,influencing factors,and project financing risks of transnational natural gas pipelines,and combines two specific cases for transnational natural gas pipeline projects.The entire process of financing was sorted out,and its financing model was compared according to the three case.Finally,taking a transnational natural gas pipeline M as an example,conducte the investment economic evaluation of the project,and explore the possibility of introducing the ABS model into the financing of transnational natural gas pipeline projects.
