Based on the theory of communication effect,Trust theory and the theory of risk social amplification,this paper takes Qingdao citizens as the research object,and uses 2019 sampling survey data of Qingdao citizens’ haze risk perception to explore Qingdao citizens’ perception of haze risk and the influence of media factors on citizens’ haze risk perception.This paper constructs a regression model of media’s influence on citizens’ perception of haze risk,and through multiple linear regression analysis,discusses in depth the influence of media on citizens’ perception of haze risk.The study found that when controlling the five variables of gender,age,education level,economic status and haze experience,the three independent variables of haze news concern,Media Channel trust and source trust significantly affect citizens’ perception of haze risk,which indicates that media use and media trust factors significantly affect citizens’ perception of haze risk.Specifically,the higher the attention paid to TV and Internet haze news,the more haze information obtained,the higher the perception of haze risk.The higher the trust in Internet haze information,the higher the perception of haze risk;The higher the credibility of the government and its staff,the lower the perception of haze risk,and the higher the credibility of environmental and health experts,social celebrities and public figures,the higher the perception of haze risk.At the same time,the cultural level,economic status and haze experience among the control variables also have significant positive effects on residents’ perception of haze risk.Thus,increasing the public’s attention to haze news and enhancing the credibility of media haze information can promote the public’s perception of haze risk and form a higher awareness of haze risk.There are three main innovations in this study.First,a regression model of media’s impact on citizens’ perception of haze risk is established,which provides a new theoretical explanation framework for the impact of media on citizens’ perception of haze risk.Secondly,by comprehensively applying the three theoretical perspectives of communication effect theory,trust theory and risk society amplification theory,this paper deeply discusses and analyzes the influence of media factors such as haze news attention,internet channel trust and trust from different sources on citizens’ haze risk perception.Thirdly,the research conclusion holds that haze experience has a positive effect on haze risk perception,increasing the public’s attention to haze news and enhancing the credibility of media haze information can promote the public’s perception of haze risk and form a higher awareness of haze risk.This conclusion is full of new ideas and reference value.
