Research On The Art Of Rhinoceros Skin Lacquer Art

As a common form of traditional lacquer art,rhinoceros lacquer art has a history of more than 2000 years.The natural,exquisite,unpredictable and unique textures on a smooth surface are not painted.Through the analysis of the technological and aesthetic characteristics of rhinoceros lacquer art,the author combines rhinoceros lacquer art with old porcelain pieces to explore a new direction for the cross-border development of rhinoceros lacquer art and modern design,and to carry out the living inheritance of traditional handicraft.Based on the research of rhinoceros lacquer art,experts and scholars mainly study rhinoceros lacquer art from the archaeological view,and art mostly focuses on basic research,while less systematic research as an independent object.Based on existing theoretical research,the author takes rhinoceros lacquer art as an independent research object and conducts a comprehensive investigation and study on rhinoceros lacquer art from the perspective of design under the background of contemporary society and culture.Finally,in combination with modern design,cross-border practical research is also implemented.This paper mainly launches from the following aspects:The paper outlines the definition and traceability of rhinoceros lacquer art,and explores the historical changes,causes,creative characteristics and techniques of representative inheritors.Then,the author analyzes and studies the material selection and technology,the pattern-setting method,painting skills,and art characters of rhino paint decoration process,as well as the occasional and controllable characteristics of texture generation.On this basis,the author explores the aesthetic characteristics of rhinoceros lacquer art,such as texture beauty,color beauty and craft beauty.Under different regional and cultural backgrounds,the author explores the technological characteristics,aesthetic characteristics and cultural relevance of rhinoceros lacquer art in Huizhou,Fuzhou and Zhejiang.The last part of the article elaborated that rhinoceros lacquer art should maintain the integrity of the process in the process of inheritance,and studied the beauty of rhinoceros lacquer art.On the basis of case analysis,the author explores the form of rhinoceros paint art in modern design,summarizes the application law of rhinoceros paint art in modern design,applies it to graduation design practice,and carries forward our excellent traditional craft wisdom in the way of living inheritance.In this paper,the author uses a variety of research methods,such as literature review,chart demonstration and field investigation.The innovation of this paper lies in the organic combination of a variety of research methods,the rhinoceros lacquer art process characteristics,aesthetic characteristics of a more systematic induction.The rhinoceros lacquer art with regional representation is compared from many angles,and the similarities and differences in cultural background,technological characteristics and aesthetic characteristics of rhinoceros lacquer art are summarized in the form of charts.On the basis of the information of pictures and texts of representative figures’ works of rhino lacquer art in different places,the author more intuitively shows the influencing factors and development status in the process of inheritance of rhino lacquer art in each representative area of our country,which is a little supplement to the relevant theoretical research.From the perspective of living inheritance of rhinoceros lacquer art,this paper studies the innovative application of rhinoceros lacquer art in modern design,carries out cross-border integration design practice between rhinoceros lacquer art and other art categories,and explores more possibilities of rhinoceros lacquer art serving current life.
