As the issues of energy and environment become more and more serious,new energies have become research hotspots.Among them,fuel cell is a new power generation device.Its performance,safety,and reliability have a direct impact on the application prospect of fuel cell.Fuel cell engine would easily break down during the operation because its work environment is very severe.Thus,diagnosing faults accurately based on real-time parameters to ensure safe and stable operation of the fuel cell engine is an important research direction.This paper takes the proton exchange membrane fuel cell engine as the research object,and carries out research on signal detection and fault diagnosis of fuel cell engine.The main research content is as follows:In order to solve the safety problems in the operation of fuel cell engine,signal detection and fault diagnosis system for fuel cell engine is proposed.Combining with the structure of the fuel cell engine,the general demand of signal detection and fault diagnosis system as well as the technical requirements of signal detection parameters are analyzed.According to requirements,the overall software and hardware solution for the system is designed,and hardware devices are selected.Several typical methods of fault diagnosis are compared,and the basic principles of fault tree analysis method are elaborated.Faults of the fuel cell engine are classified according to the structure,including fault of hydrogen supply system,fault of air supply and humidification system,fault of cooling system,fault of fuel cell stack and fault of control system.The fault tree diagnosis models of these faults are constructed,and qualitative analyses are performed to obtain the minimum cut set.Then the fault diagnosis expert system algorithm is designed based on the fault tree models.Based on the requirement analysis of system software,the overall framework of software system is designed.And the function modules of software are divided and implemented,including data acquisition and control module,database management module,communication module,fault diagnosis module and human-computer interaction module.Thus,the system has realized real-time monitoring of engine operating parameters,application of fault diagnosis expert system algorithms,and designing of friendly and intuitive man-machine interface.An experimental platform is established for signal detection and fault diagnosis of fuel cell engine.And simulation experiments are designed and performed by making fuel cell engine run in man-made fault modes,including hydrogen regulator fault,cooling fan fault,and sensor fault.Then the diagnosis results of the fault diagnosis expert system are analyzed and verified.This paper builds a hardware system for signal detection and data acquisition of fuel cell engine.And fault diagnosis expert system algorithm is designed based on the data obtained from system of signal detection and fault tree models.Finally,the data monitoring and fault diagnosis of the fuel cell engine are achieved through the upper computer software.The practical results have shown good effect in actual research work.
