Based on the stakeholder theory and legitimacy theory,using the survey data of 380 polluting enterprises in Zhejiang province,this paper will study the relationship among stakeholder pressure,corporate environmental behavior and environmental performance,and the moderating role of CSR is also discussed.The results are as follows,first,stakeholder pressure can significantly improve environmental performance.Regulation pressure and public opinion pressure can largely promote environmental performance,while market pressure has no significant impact on environmental performance.Second,stakeholder pressure can significantly promote adoption of corporate environmental behavior.Regulation pressure and market pressure play a significant role in promoting corporate environmental behavior,while public opinion pressure has no significant effect.Third,corporate environmental behavior has a positive impact on environmental performance.Fourth,corporate environmental behavior has an intermediary effect on the relationship of stakeholder pressure and environmental performance.Further research found,first,CSR plays a significant role in regulating the relationship between stakeholder pressure and environmental performance.Moreover,the moderating effect of CSR on regulation pressure and environmental performance is entirely mediated by the mediating variable of corporate environmental behavior,the mediation effect model is established.Second,CSR plays a significant role in regulating the relationship between stakeholder pressure and corporate environmental behavior.Third,CSR has no significant moderating effect on corporate environmental behavior and environmental performance relationship,and the mediating effect model is not established.This paper provides a new research perspective for subsequent research,and has an important effect theoretically and practically.
