Environmental self-discipline convention of container industry headed by China Container Association in 2016 require the coating process of container manufacturers change from solvent coating to waterborne coating.With the popularization of waterborne paint,the related factors like the construction technology,quality inspection,cost control have become the focus attention of container manufacturers.However,the current container paint correction process is man-made,the accuracy of matching process can not be guaranteed,causes quality risk of waterborne coating,and the cost of waterborne paint is higher than that of traditional solvent coatings,therefore container manufacturers urgently need automated paint matching equipment to replace the current man-made paint correction to realize the accurate matching of the whole painting process,and ensure the efficiency and quality.This paper analyze the demand for paint spraying on container based on waterborne paint,study the process flow of paint correction system and paint correction of waterborne paint,and research and design the paint system which decompose function into three subsystems: matching,mixing and temperature control.According to the process control requirements of the three subsystems of matching,mixing and temperature control,study the acquisition principle of pressure,flow and temperature and signal control,combine neural network algorithm with PID control to apply to the process control of container automatic paint correction.The input layer of neural network is composed of production parameters,make pid tuning,which meet the need of precise control of process control system which is greatly influenced by environment.In addition,according to the needs of container paint control process,design the structure and function of the automatic painting equipment,include the structures of agitator and mixing tank,the selection of screw pump,and motor calculation and selection.The PLC programming of the control system is completed based on the control system of Siemens PLC,besides,the monitoring and control interface of the system is developed by using configuration software according to the actual production requirements.Finally,field tests were carried out on the trial-produced painting equipment to test the efficiency of paint correction and mataching precision which are core index of intelligent paint system for container,detail test data are recorded.The test results are consistent with the theoretical design,which can meet the needs of actual production and improve the company technical level of spraying and painting.
