Agglomeration process of high shear mixing is an important option in producing solid detergent.Compared with the widely accepted High Tower Spray Fog Process,the agglomeration process of high shear mixing has the advantages of elegant technical process,low investment,high varieties of products etc.Thus it is an optimum method in producing solid detergent with low density and high activity.This work studied the four major parameters that influence on the physical properties of the product particles,including the ingredients proportion,rotating speed of the agitator,temperature and the particle size of Na2CO3.A three phase diagram was produced from the influences of ingredients,which helped in discussing the particle properties in those three regions.The agitator speed produced different influences in these regions.The particle size decreases with the increase of agitator speed in the dry region,while the particle size drops in the wet region under the same condition.In the intermediate region,the particle size at first drops and later rises as the agitator speed continually increases.The temperature rise decreases the viscosity and promotes the product dispersion.At the same time the rise of temperature increases the reaction rate,which in turn increases the particle size.Different Na2CO3particle size produces different phase diagram.The rise in particle sizes increases the area of wet region and decreases that of dry region,which also promotes the adhesive dispersion at the surface of particles.The pilot scale experiment of agglomeration process of high shear mixing was also discussed,and four dimension groups were proposed,including comparative scavenging volumes,cutting strength,F number and agitator tip linear speed.Those four groups have different meanings in production.The comparative scavenging volume is the frequency of scavenging,which is determined by the energy input of the particle production system...
