| There is a complex interaction relationship between land use, road network and urban traffic. But most of the previous studies related to land use, road network structure and traffic operation are devoted to the study of the effect of land use and road network on traffic demand and traffic mode. And the effect of land use and road network on traffic safety in China is still in qualitative research. The objective of this study is to establish a level of service of safety model based on land use and road network.First, with the traffic analysis zone as the basic geographic unit, land use, road network, traffic accident, population and traffic operation data are matched to the map. Then, road network parameters and land use parameters are selected to divide traffic analysis zones into different road network patterns and land-use patterns. And Geographically Weighted Regression is used to study the effect of road network and land-use patterns on traffic safety and explore its influence mechanism.Afterwards,an orderly muti-classification logistics model is used to establish a level of service of safety model based on road network and land use patterns. Finally,a domestic city is used to verify the level of service of safety model by the surrogate safety assessment method based on probe vehicles. With traffic analysis zone as the basic geographical unit, road network is divided into four patterns and land use is divided into five patterns. The study found that the combination of leisure and recreation land-use pattern and mixed road network pattern, combination of leisure and recreation land-use pattern and grid-like road network pattern, the combination of community service land-use pattern and mixed road network pattern and the combination of community service land-use pattern and grid-like road network pattern have bad traffic safety and deserve more traffic safety management. Moreover, the evaluation results of surrogate safety assessment based on probe vehicles is consistent with that of the level of service of safety model. The research results can provide reference for traffic safety conscious land use planning and traffic planning. |
