Low molecular weight hydrogel is a kind of new type gel materials, compared with the polymer hydrogel, the former has better biocompatibility, can be designed and is easy to degradation. The LMHGs has a good application prospect in the biological medicine and tissue engineering cell culture and other fields. The process of aggregation is primarily driven by non-covalent interactions to form network structure.Due to its low mechanical strength,it has greatly restricted the application of this new type of material in a wider field. The preparation of hybrid hydrogel was from the carboxyl carbon nanotubes and gel factor by physical crosslinking method, and use a variety of methods to test the structure and the properties of the pure supramolecular hydrogel and the prepared hybrid hydrogel.Such as: Stability testing and Swelling study,Determination of the gel-to-sol transition temperature(Tgs),Transmission electron microscopic(TEM)study,Rheological measurements;the results indicate: Compared with the initial gel,the introduction of the carboxyl-carbon nanotubes have no much impact on the morphology and microstructure of the gel,but further improved its sol-gel transition temperature(Tgs),water retention and water imbibition, and The mechanical properties of hybrid hydrogel enhanced obviously. In addition, the hybrid hydrogel retains the basic characteristic of the supramolecular hydrogel, especially the shear thinned, the temperature response and the recovery characterization.
