| Mercury,a highly toxic substance,threatens the environment and human health.As an important process of iron and steal smelting,sintering process is an important mercury sources.Thus,it’s necessary to remove the mercury from sintering gas.In this study,three organic frame works(MOFs)was prepared and their performance on mercury removal from sintering gas was studied.Results show that although Cu-BTC had limited Hg0 removal ability without HCl,but it exhibited an excellent Hg0 removal efficiency when HCl was added.The load of Pd significantly improved the Hg0 removal efficency without HCl,but the Hg0 removal efficency decreased over 200 oC.That may because the activity of Pd declined in high temperature.HCl also improved the Hg0 removal efficency of Pd/Cu-BTC.With and without HCl,-SH/Cu-BTC had good Hg0 removal efficiency,and the Hg0 removal efficiency in high temperature is higher than that of Pd/Cu-BTC.SO2 inhibited the mercury removal of Cu-BTC,but the inhibition was weakened when Pd was loaded,while the addition of-SH further increased the sulfur resistance of the material.NO promoted the mercury removal performance of the materials,but this effect was not obvious when the mercury removal efficiency was relatively high.The effect of H2O was also insignificant under all of the experimental conditions.With HCl,Hg0 can be removed by catalysis.Without HCl,Hg0can be removed by the adsorption of Cu-BTC,or by oxidation with the effect of Pd.Hg0 can also be removed by the combination of Hg and S. |
