The paper-cut art of Lar tableland is a folk art rooted in Hunan and Guizhou.It is based on Miao culture and combines the essence of Han culture.As the bottom sample of paper-cut,the paper-cut of Lar Mountain serves embroidery.It has practical function,rich pattern,changeable shape,rich emotion of paper-cut artists,as well as unique cognitive thinking and aesthetic taste.As an intangible cultural heritage,paper-cut in the Lar Mountain tableland condenses the wisdom of the folk,is the true portrayal of the spiritual world of the Miao people,and is also the precipitation of the history and culture.Focusing on the artistic characteristics of paper-cut in Lar Mountain,this paper elaborates its theme patterns,plastic arts,aesthetic thinking and cultural features,and introduces the characteristics of paper-cut tools and materials in this area.The technological process is systematically recorded,and the artistic and cultural features of the Lar Mountain platform are further summarized.Finally,this paper gives some protection suggestions on the difficulties faced in the process of inheritance in this area.Expect the outside world to Miaopaper-cut and other related folk art to understand and concern,to its inheritance and protection.
