Study On The Decorative Design Of Ceramic On The Screen

Screen is one of the most important furniture in China since ancient times,which is used by people and popular for thousands of years.As the representative of inheriting Chinese traditional culture,ceramics has witnessed Chinese history,national aesthetic consciousness and moral pursuit.Ancient skilled craftsman uses wisdom to combine two things without correlation,enchase pottery and porcelain to go up in the screen,made delicate pottery and porcelain screen,and pottery and porcelain screen serves as peculiar craft art to have very strong national character.With the progress of society,people's pursuit of beauty is more intense.The form is too onefold pottery and porcelain screen already cannot satisfy the demand of people,the innovation on material and design train of thought appears particularly important for a long time.This article firstly uses the practical function of the screen as the entry point of exploration to lead out the screen as the art carrier has the very strong decoration.This article analyzes the influence of painting and crafts to the screen added to the traditional screen,and transition to modern screen design so as to lead to the possibility of ceramic re-design on the modern screen,including the study on the plasticity of ceramic materials and the study on the decoration of ceramic materials.And combined with my own graduation design creation realization analysis,further analysis possibility exploration.
