The Impact Of Foreign Direct Investment On Mining Sector In Mongolia

Foreign Direct Investment(FDI)is an important part of economic development and economic growth in developing countries such a country like Mongolia.This research examined the FDI inflows to Mongolia and how it is influence to economy,social,and mainly for mining industry.Mining industry is one of the key economic pillar in Mongolia.The research explained all of above factors in FDI.The main content of the thesis organized as follows.Chapter 1 shows an introduction of research work.The background of the research has been discussed here and mentioned research problem..Chapter 2 shows theoretical framework and foundations about Mongolian policies to towards Mongolian mining industry and Government policies to FDI sector.Chapter 3shows a current situation of mining industry andnew regulations and laws to Foreign direct investment Moreover chapter is about to how to promote sustainable foreign investment to Mongolia and general approaches to overview of the mining sectors issue and more often analysis of the legisl ative.Chapter 4shows internal and external impacts on Mongolian mining sectors and will present regression analyze of FDI affect to Mongolian economic growth.Chapter 5 “Conclusion and Recommendation.” In this section of the chapter providing recommendations for future research work.This paper examines the impact of FDI on mining sector of Mongolia and identify problems,constraints,growth and the contribution of mining to the growth of the national economy.In addition,it addresses the trends is FDI i n Mongolian sector and its processes,strengths and government policies.Research work based on foreign direct investment,and other scientific knowledge,using qualitative,literature analysis method,induction,deductive method,historical analyze,and documentrial material analyze.Also analyzes the current situation and investment environment of Mongolian mining sector and difficulties of foreign direct investment in Mongolian mining sector and tires to put forward some feasible suggestion.The using SPSS(Statistical Package for Social Sciences)was used statistical analysis to examine the Foreign Direct Investment really affects to Mongolian economic growth.The result shows that there was a positive interaction between Mongolian economic growth and FDI.The research result and findings indicated that FDI could influence economic growth.The FDI inflow and minerals price are directly influence to Mongolian economy.Based on result of research,we have proposed number of recommendations how to more d evelop and attract to FDI inflows to Mongolia mining sector furthermore not only for mining industry also try to attract other main sectors.
