Application And Research Of SOHO Furniture Design Based On 3D Printing Technology

With the development of the Internet,people's lifestyles are becoming more diversified.SOHO,which combines life and office,is free and flexible.It has been pursued by many young people today and has become one of the phenomena during this period.Furniture is an important medium in people's study,office and living space.As a materialized product,it must be related to manufacturing.However,furniture,based on traditional production technology,can hardly meet the diversified needs of the youth group this change.While the manufacturing technology characteristics of 3D printing can meet the needs of this individuation and customization.For the current research and analysis of relevant research,3D printing applications are mainly concentrated in two aspects in home and abroad,one is customized modeling;the other is the utilization research of diversified 3D printing materials.However,from the perspective of manufacturing,we lack the design studies,conducted according to special populations.Therefore,based on the technology of 3D printing,the application research from the analysis of the SOHO users needs is the background,significance and purpose of this paper.The research scope of this paper mainly revolves around the working and living space of SOHO group,makes use of the manufacturing characteristics of 3D printing,and adopts the method of integrated design to carry on the design practice research to the unique SOHO space partition.In terms of research methods,theoretical research and practical research are combined,and specific research methods such as literature analysis method,field investigation method,experimental research method and comparative analysis method are adopted.In the theoretical research,through the analysis of the basic situation of the SOHO group,the author understands the life forms and behavior habits of the SOHO group,and the particularity of the SOHO group in the use of furniture.At the same time,comparing 3D printing technology with traditional production methods,author finds the manufacturing advantages of 3D printing in SOHO furniture design,and applies it in the process of furniture design.In the practical research,the author seeks the design entry point from the SOHO user requirements and the existing SOHO furniture problems,continue to design and practice through the intervention of 3D printing.The author explores and analyzes the advantages and problems of the combination of 3D printing and SOHO furniture in the design practice process,and thus summarizes the corresponding design ideas and method models.Through the design practice of SOHO furniture,this research explores the possibilities to design SOHO furniture from the perspective of manufacturing methods,and solve the limitations of current SOHO furniture by taking the technical advantages of 3D printing.Through the design research of furniture functions,modeling,assembly methods and other aspects,3D printing is applied to the local connector and visual decoration of furniture.The author makes full use of the technical advantages of 3D printing in the design process to make a proof.In addition,in the process of design and application,the furniture method model,based on 3D printing technology,is refined.It can explore more humanized SOHO furniture design in terms of form,function and use mode,and liberate the producer from the perspective of product manufacturing at the same time.
