CLT acid and DHB are synthesized from nitro-C acid and o-nitrochlorobenzene by catalytic hydrogenation. The effects of reaction temperature, stirring speed, hydrogen pressure, reaction solvent, amount of catalyst and additive on the reaction are investigated, and the optimum reaction conditions are obtained.Based on the selection of surface oxygen groups and pore structure, the most suitable activated carbon as catalyst carrier is selected from a variety of commercial activated carbon, and nitric acid is used to pretreat the carrier to increase the oxygen groups on the surface of the carrier.Activated carbon supported platinum catalyst is obtained by hydrogen reduction at high temperature by impregnation method for adsorbing nitric acid. The catalyst has high activity and selectivity in hydrosynthesis of CLT acid and DHB.The effects of carrier selection, amount of nitric acid and reduction temperature on the performance of the catalyst were investigated. The deactivated catalyst is studied by means of SEM,TEM and ICP.Reasons for deactivation of chemical agents, organic impurities produced in the reaction lead to blockage of catalyst channels and coverage of active sites. The deactivated catalyst is regenerated by scrubbing with toluene and DMF at 90 C.After regeneration, the performance of the catalyst is not significantly different from that of the fresh catalyst.
