Study On The Cultural Art And Inheritance Of Suzuo Ming-style Furniture

China has a long history of furniture culture and art.Since the Tang and Five Dynasties entered the foot-dropping high-type furniture,the high development of Song and Yuan Dynasty,which laid a foundation for the formation of furniture in Ming Dynasty.In the early Ming Dynasty,the exquisite handicraft of Suzhou,the rise of overseas trade and the superb skills of cast iron provided technical strength and material conditions for the development of Suzuo Ming-style furniture.By the middle and late Ming Dynasty,although the whole dynasty had suffered from internal and external troubles and storms,Suzhou was still a thriving,peaceful singing and dancing,and throughout the country feel happy and contented.Long-term tranquility and stable and rapid economic development have made the whole city of Suzhou take Confucianism,Taoism,Buddhism and psychology as its thoughts,gardens as its surroundings,furniture as its instruments,piano,chess,calligraphy and painting as its companion,and Quyi novel as its interest.With the close cooperation of knowledgeable literati and skilled craftsmen,the design and production of Suzuo Ming-style furniture reached its historical peak,integrating culture,art,science and practicality,and became a classic example of the combination of Dao and utensil,from utensil to Dao,and from utensil to Dao.Firstly,this paper collates and analyses the political,economic,geographical,cultural,religious and philosophical data of Suzhou in Ming Dynasty by using the methods of literature research,field investigation and comparative analysis,and compares the differences between Suzuo Ming-style furniture,Guangzuo furniture and Jingzuo furniture horizontally.Suzuo Ming-style furniture as a comprehensive carrier of multiple cultural combinations,vividly reflects the natural environment,social economy,cultural environment,handicraft,ideology and customs of Suzhou at that time.Secondly,by summarizing the materials and decorative patterns commonly used in Suzuo Ming-style furniture,this paper analyses the decoration of midpoint,line and surface,and contour modeling of furniture,and takes Suzuo Ming-style desk furniture as an example to quantify its size and summarizes the characteristics of the proportion and size of desk furniture.Subsequently,the mortise and tenon structure technology with characteristics in Suzuo Ming-style furniture is described and explained.From the material,decoration,modeling and craft to the furniture presented by the "according to Confucianism,depending on Taoism and traveling in zen" natural simple,delicate,ingenious and elegant aesthetic art specifically elaborated.Finally,through on-the-spot investigation and questionnaires to analyze and summarize the status quo of the traditional skills of the Xiangshan Gang,and combined with the current social environment,put forward the way to develop the traditional skills of the Xiangshan Gang.In addition,through the investigation and analysis of the present furniture market,this paper puts forward the inheritance ways of Suzuo Ming-style furniture.At the same time,it uses the previous theoretical research results to carry out furniture design practice,which provides certain reference and reference for the promotion and development of modern furniture products with national characteristics.
