Medium grade non-oriented silicon steel B50A600 products are mainly used in the production of various types of motor,compressor iron core.With the implementation of the national policy of energy saving,the importance of lower core loss and higher megnetic flux gradually emerges.But in the process of punching the materials,the processing performance was often unsatisfactory.Under the premise of maintaining the current level of megnetic properties,how to improve the mechanical properties of the materials became the new target of the silicon steel production enterprises.In this paper,the influence of the key technological parameters on the properties of non oriented silicon steel B50A600 was studied,such as phosphorus,hot-rolling process of slab-heating temperature,strip coiling temperature and laminar cooling patterns,and adjustment of annealing temperature in the continuous annealing line.Through the change of technological parameters,we hoped to achieve the ultimate goal of improving the comprehensive performance of materials.The results of the study show that:1)in does not affect the cold rolling under the premise,when 0.05%phosphorus was added into non-oriented silicon steel B50A600,iron loss P15/505/50 can be reduced by about 0.3W/kg,also the magnetic induction B500 remained almost unchanged,and the mechanical properties of materials are raised,so that the punching can effectively improve;total content of N,O,Ti and V should be controlled within 60 ppm,thus can meet target requirements that the iron loss P15/50<4.1W/kg,and the magnetic induction B50>1.70T.2)Considering the factors of megnetic properties,workability and other defects in all aspects,setting slab-heating temperature for 1150?and strip coiling temperature for 720?can achieve the best megnetic properties;U-shaped laminar cooling patterns has obvious effect on the magnetic induction,B500 value can be increased by1030 GS.3)When Annealing temperature increased from 820?to 900?,the iron loss value decreases,while the yield strength decreased accordingly.Under the comprehensive consideration,the annealing temperature is set at about 845?properly.Through the experiments and mass-producing for verification,the iron loss P15/505/50 of improved B50A600 was stably at 4 W/kg,and the yield strength was at least 280 MPa.Meanwhile,the magnetic induction B500 has improved to a certain extent.The materials can meet the purchaser's requirements and the anticipative target are achieved.
