In the dyeing of cotton yarn,there is a process of replacing the cylinder of the cotton bobbin.At present,the cotton yarn tube changing machine used in the factory has problems such as low production efficiency,low automation,and poor safety and high labor intensity.At the manufacturer's request,In this paper,a set of semi-automatic yarn-changing shell changing device is designed,which completes the drawing design,parts manufacturing,assembly,commissioning and trial operation of the whole set,and has been delivered to the enterprise for use.This paper describes in detail the process of changing the cotton tube and planning the operation of the equipment.According to the action flow,various solutions were proposed,and the comparison and selection of the solutions were carried out.The basic scheme of touch screen operation,manual feeding,overall feeding of the bobbin and the new cylinder,and the simultaneous replacement of the five bobbins in a single cycle are determined.The mechanical structure of the whole set mainly includes five parts of the cotton bobbin conveying part,the whole conveying part,the shell changing and the pressure holding part,the finished cotton bobbin collecting part and the yellow shell collecting part.The functions and structural characteristics of each part were described separately.The finite element simulation analysis was carried out on key parts such as cylinder plates with large force;the 3D model and 2D engineering drawings of the whole set of equipment were completed,and the prototype was made.According to the actual production needs,the PLC-based control system design scheme was proposed.The control software was compiled and the hardware of the control system was selected and designed.The prototype was commissioned and commissioned and delivered to the enterprise.Practice has proved that the production efficiency of the semi-automatic yarn-changing machine designed by this paper is 4.5 times,and the operation comfort and safety are greatly improved.At the same time,the equipment is simple to repair and cheap.In addition,if the equipment is properly modified,it can be applied to the shell changing process of different sizes of cotton yarn cylinders,which is suitable for marketing applications.
