In recent years,with the rapid development of commodity economy and the improvement of people's quality of life,the design and functional requirements of mass food packaging have been given a broader meaning: protection products are not easy to deteriorate,easy to store and transport,meet food safety standards,appearance Exquisite,reasonable structure,environmentally friendly materials,can promote consumer understanding of food.Nowadays,food safety problems caused by improper food packaging design are endless: food packaging materials are improperly selected and contain harmful substances;harmful substances are added to packaging materials;labeling and printing materials contain toxic substances,lack of inspection;Stable,affecting food quality;packaging structure design is unreasonable,there are different levels of safety hazards.Food safety issues are related to the national economy and people's livelihood,and are related to people's health.The state attaches great importance to it.The safety design of food packaging is an important part of ensuring food safety.In this paper,Tianjin consumers conducted a survey on the safety awareness of mass food packaging through questionnaires to understand consumers' awareness of food packaging safety knowledge and problems.Based on this,from the perspective of safety design,the paper analyzes and studies the selection of food packaging materials,packaging molding process,packaging structure design,packaging production and printing design,packaging recycling design and packaging safety supervision,and further explores how to Standardize,optimize and improve the system,mechanism and safety inspection standards in the food packaging industry to ensure food safety.At present,people's understanding of the safety of mass food packaging is still vague,and the ability to recognize and discern food packaging materials and technology is still lacking.Therefore,it is of great social significance to strengthen the popularization of food packaging safety education.This paper has carried out specific research from the aspects of food packaging design quality and consumer food safety education.Strengthening the quality of food packaging design can improve the awareness of food safety production of business owners,enhance the awareness of packaging designers' social responsibility,enhance consumer safety awareness and ability,and raise the awareness of government departments on food safety supervision;Education is mainly spread through the media,word of mouth and school education to establish a harmonious and interactive relationship for all parties.
