Under the current background of energy shortage and scarcity of resources,the situation of water environmental pollution has become increasingly severe.The state has proposed to further strengthen the treatment of water pollution.With the introduction of the national A-level standard,many urban sewage treatment plants in China are facing the requirements of upgrading the standard.This article has carried on the thorough analysis and research to the XY Sewage Treatment Plant upgrading project in a city of Liaoning Province.Based on the scientific proof,we try to select the best plan for the transformation of the sewage treatment plant.The author through an in-depth analysis of the operation status of the XY sewage treatment plant,combined with the quality of water in and out,to assess its defects in operation,management,water quality and process status and other defects.The analysis found that the effluent specifications of the XY Sewage Treatment Plant could not fully meet the requirements of the Class A standard.Therefore,it is necessary to reconstruct the original process,and new biochemical treatment process and advanced treatment unit.Through scientific demonstration,it was determined that the design and processing capacity of the XY Sewage Treatment Plant upgrading project was 40,000 t/d.Transform the original treatment system into an improved A2/O process,design a treatment scale of 20,000 t/d,build a new wastewater treatment system with a SBR process as the main process,and design a treatment scale of 20,000 t/d;build a new mixed flocculation+activated sand The advanced processing unit of the filter+UV process.At the same time,supporting the construction of a 5.8km cutoff pipe project.The selection of the above treatment process has a good effect of removing nitrogen and phosphorus,and further removing COD,SS and other indicators.At the same time,according to the requirements of the optimal treatment effect,the design and operating parameters of the relevant buildings(structures)in the upgrade and reconstruction project of the wastewater treatment plant were optimized and determined.After accounting for the environmental benefits of the upgrade and reconstruction of the wastewater treatment plant,after the completion of the project,COD reduction 4380t/a,BODs reduction 2482t/a,SS reduction 2482t/a,and ammonia reduction 365t/a can be realized.,Total nitrogen reduction 365t/a,total phosphorus reduction 51.5t/a.The construction of the upgrading and reconstruction project of the sewage treatment plant can better carry out the deep treatment of the sewage in this area.After deep treatment,the water quality is stricter,which can effectively alleviate the problem of river water pollution and promote the restoration of river ecological environment.It is of great significance to improve the local natural and living environment,improve the water quality of residents and promote the further development of regional economy.
