Wastwater treatment engineering as a conduct of environmental protection item, for the protection water resources, prevention and control various infectious disease, raise residents health level, there is important function.This research project is the upgrade project of Panjin City sewage treatment plant. The plant was built in the beginning of this century, the construction and operation of the process does not consider the function of the removal of nitrogen and phosphorus. With the more strict of the emissions water quality, the removal of nitrogen and phosphorus is also indispensable for sewage treatment. Environmental Protection Bureau of Liaoning Province was promulgated in2008, Liaoning Province Integrated Wastewater Discharge Standard "DB21/1627-2008, according to the requirements of the standard content, the first sewage treatment plant of Panjin City must be performed at the national level of A standard. So, in order to achieve an A standard of the effluent quality, Panjin City sewage treatment plant must be upgrade.The process increase denitrification and chemical phosphorus removal process in order to make nitrogen and phosphate of the effluent standard. This requires a substantial transformation of the original process, examples increasing denitrification and chemical phosphorus removal units. Recommended program of the sewage treatment process is the use of A/O mobile bed biofilm reactor (MBBR)+chemical phosphorus removal+fiber turntable filter+UV disinfection process.The upgrading project of Panjin sewage treatment plant deal with deeply the organic pollutants (BOD5, COD) and COD of sewage effluent less than50mg/L, the removal rate is85.71%. The depth of removal of nitrogenous compounds take into account the stability of the system operation and energy efficiency requirements. The system must achieve nitrification and denitrification. Depth removal of the TP must echieve the removal rate of more than88.89%. The main method is chemical removal of phosphorus. The depth of removal of suspended solids (SS) must echieve the removal rate of95.24%. So it must set the advanced wastewater treatment segment.The original activated sludge reactor pool transformed into the MBBR reaction pool, increasing the role of removal of nitrogen and phosphorus. While increasing the depth of processing units, resorted to suspended material of water. The discharged micro-organisms of the sewage can achieve target by increasing the disinfection equipment. The transformation increase the handling of the deodorizing device, so that the exhaust of sewage treatment process can be fully purification. After the above transformation, water quality can be achieved at the national level A standard.
