At present, the depth of coal mining in eastern China is developing at a rate of 10-25 meters per year.In the next 20 years, many coal mines will enter the depth of 1000-1500 meters. With the increase of mining depth, the occurrence frequency and intensity of mine earthquake are also increasing.Mine earthquake will cause influence and harm to buildings on the ground, and raise the safety of mining from mining safety to public safety. It is of great significance to predict and prevent mine earthquake disaster by studying the problem of high precision positioning of mine earthquake. The precise location of mine earthquake events is affected by many factors, under the same sensor precision condition, the spatial geometry of mine earthquake monitoring network has a significant effect on the accuracy and reliability of mine earthquake location solution. In this paper, the calculation of mine seismic positioning is regarded as space distance intersection, based on the principle of spatial three-dimensional distance rendezvous, and the indirect adjustment method is applied to solve the undetermined spot error.the source point and the monitoring stations are made to form a rectangular tetrahedron, and the focal point is the smallest.Based on the theory of pathological diagnosis of matrix, the paper calculates the problem of the condition of the network equation of the source point and the monitoring station. In a monitoring station network, the higher the value of k(N),the lower the seismic source positioning accuracy.According to the value of k(N),a monitoring network can be evaluated to meet the requirements of engineering accuracy, and to provide monitoring station network design basis for monitoring different depth of mine earthquake. In different monitoring networks, the seismic source points are different from those of the monitoring stations,so the k(N)values of different monitoring networks are different. However,it is possible to judge whether the equation is pathological according to the value of k(N),namely, whether the monitoring network formed by the focal point and the monitoring station is reasonable, which provides the basis for the screening of the monitoring stations involved in the calculation of adjustment.
