Cone crusher is widely used in crushing industry.It has the advantages of high production efficiency,low energy consumption and uniform crushing minerals.In the work,the whole cone crusher will produce periodic shock and vibration due to its rotary pendulum movement of the moving cone,resulting in serious wear of the related parts,especially the performance of the top bearing(joint bearing)of the upper frame.It is easy to cause the bearing to fail in operation,and the failure is often caused by contact wear.Therefore,it is very important to study the wear characteristics of taper crusher joint bearing.This paper focuses on the actual case study of joint bearing wear failure of conical crusher of Hunan Baoshan Mining Company,and makes a comprehensive analysis of joint bearing wear.Firstly,the research route of joint bearing wear of cone crusher is introduced.The wear theory,wear motion analysis,mathematical wear equation,finite element analysis method and general friction and wear test method are introduced.Then,the wear finite element model of the joint bearing is established,and the contact stress,the surface pressure and the contact area are analyzed with the wear,and the wear rate is obtained by the finite element analysis.The allowable wear running times of the joint bearing are calculated.At the same time,the wear simulation test of joint bearing is carried out,and the relationship between roughness andwear quantity and friction coefficient is obtained.Finally,the results of finite element analysis and wear test of joint bearing are discussed.In the discussion,the difference of wear rate and wear quantity and the cause of error are compared and analyzed by combining two research methods.The results show that the finite element two-dimensional micro-element model is effective in simulating and analyzing the wear of joint bearing.The peak stress and pressure of the joint bearing appear at the transition edge of the contact surface,and the wear condition of the joint bearing can be judged from the peak shape and quantity.When the joint bearing runs normally up to 70000 times,the bearing needs to be replaced;When the joint bearing is dry friction,the wear and friction coefficient of the joint bearing are least and the friction surface roughness of the joint bearing is 0.151 μ m;When the roughness Ra is less than 0.151 μ m,the wear amount and friction coefficient decrease with the increase of roughness,and the roughness has a great effect on the friction and wear properties of the sample.When the roughness Ra is greater than 0.151 μ m,the wear and friction coefficient increase with the increase of roughness;When the surface roughness of metal is larger or smaller,the wear and friction coefficient are higher.
