With bridges, construction and other industries developing,the crushing material gets more and more extensive application, in which thecompressing and grinding equipment is in widely used. How to improve theproductivity, reduce energy consumption and realize "more broken with lessgrinding" are the key points of the cone crusher’s research. Especially, theanalysis and study the mechanism of crushing material and the criticalcomponents will help to improve the equipment performance and its servicelife.In traditional laminating crushing theory, the material crushing processis imaginary as layer crushing, but which is more complex in the actualproduction process, there are many single item crushing in it. So all aboveare in depth studied in this paper.First of all, the H8800cone crusher (simplified as cone crusher), asresearch object, which single material crushing process is analyzed. And theSolidworks software is adopt to establish the crushing system dynamics finiteelement model, as the basic components of crushing cavity, which iscomposed with rotor, material and fixed cone. Then, the dynamics finiteelement arithmetic of ANSYS/LS-DYNA software is applied to solve thecrushing force changing of the rotor and fixed cone, and analyze itsinfluencing factors such as speed and eccentricity.Secondly, according to the established finite element model of crushingsystem, it is studied that the stress and strain of critical components, such asrotor and fixed cone, in the single material crushing process. For more, itobtained the maximum strain area and analyzed the influencing factors ofstress and strain at the same time, which provide the references for thestructural optimization.Finally, in order to prevent resonance in the rotor and avoid resonancezone as much as possible, it is carried the modal analysis to the cone in freeand constrain conditions with the Ansys software adopted. And it gets thefirst ten order frequencies and corresponding vibration modes of crushing results cone in above two conditions. The research shows that the speed ofH8800cone crusher can effectively avoid the resonance zone.In this paper, the adopted calculate method and the conclusion thatanalyzed based on the simulation result, should help provide the referencesfor the structure design and optimization.
