A Study Of Andrew Dobson's Ecological Philosophy

Andrew Dobson is a European environmental political philosopher and a r epresentative of European ecologism.This paper mainly uses the methods of lit erature analysis,historical analysis and comparative research to systematically e xcavate its theoretical origin from the background of the germination of Dobso n's ecological philosophy from the perspective of environmental philosophy.Thr ough the discussion of the formation logic and main contents of Dobson's ecol ogism,this paper analyzes his ecological philosophy theory,and sums up the c ore of his ecological philosophy thought,that is,"the whole value theory of th e earth","reflection and criticism of strong humanism" and "criticism of consu merism values".Then the Marxist ecological philosophy is written.In order to analyze and evaluate the ecological philosophy of Dobson,it is pointed out tha t the ecological philosophy has the dialectical view of the ecological and envir onmental,and the social development from nature itself,and puts forward the main body of the ecological civilization for the development of the ecological citizen.In order to provide theoretical support and other contemporary values f or the development of ecological consumption and ecological science and techn ology,as well as the one-sided understanding of the science and technology of Dobson's ecological philosophy,the ecological holism may go to the extreme of the ecological center theory,and the position of the ecological center is the neglect of the human's subjective initiative.The ecological ideal Utopia and t he ecological doctrine can not be regarded as the limitation of the consciousne ss of the leading subject.In the end,the problems in China's current ecologica l practice This paper analyzes and finds out the enlightenment of Dobson's eco logical philosophy to the construction of ecological civilization in China from t he aspects of consumption pattern,development of science and technology,org anization and arrangement of ecological practice and construction of ecological culture thought to improve ecological consciousness.
