The Research On The Development Model Of Finnish Furniture Design In The 20th Century

In recent years,with the deep integration of information technology and manufacturing,global manufacturing has ushered in new opportunit:ies and challenges.As the world's manufacturing powers have introduced national manufacturing innovation policies,China has also promulgated"Made in China 2025".A number of national innovation and development strategies,such as the National Innovation Driven Development Strategy Outline,promote the innovation,transformation and upgrading of China's manufacturing industry from different dimensions,and create a world-competitive national manufacturing system.As the world's largest furniture manufacturing country,China's innovative development of the furniture industry has important practical significance for improving the competitiveness of the national manufacturing system and realizing the transformation from furniture manufacturing giant to manufacturing power.The Finnish modem furniture design and manufacturing industry,which originated in the early 20th century,has established its leading position in the world for more than a century.Its innovative and unique development model has a good reference value for the development of China's furniture industry.Firstly,through the analysis of Finnish history,politics,natural resources and national culture,this paper analyzes the influence of the evolution of Finnish and Swedish,Finnish and Russian historical relations on Finnish furniture design culture,and analyzes the rise of Finnish national culture and nationalist furniture style.Formation and good natural resources play an important supporting role in the development of furniture design and manufacturing.The study concluded that Finnish furniture manufacturing activities in the 19th century were mainly in the form of traditional handicrafts.The modern industrial production form was not popular,but at this time Finnish furniture design and manufacturing industry had a good industrial development foundation,while furniture industry associations and vocational education institutions.The promotion organizations of other industries have been established and have been initially developed,laying a foundation for talent cultivation and industry services in the furniture industry.Secondly,it deeply analyzes the development process of Finnish furniture design and manufacturing in the 20th century.In the early 20th century,the industrialization of Finnish traditional handicrafts promoted the rapid development of furniture design and manufacturing.The main style of Finnish furniture design also shifted from nationalism to modernism.In the middle and late 20th century,the restoration of Finnish countries after World War ? promoted furniture.The rapid development of design and manufacturing,in the 1950s and 1960s,based on a good industrial base and unique national culture,Finnish furniture design rose rapidly on the world stage,while the Finnish furniture manufacturing model realized from"design and manufacturing integration" The upgrade transformation of"separation of design and manufacturing".Finally,the comprehensive research shows that the development model of Finnish furniture design and manufacturing in the 20th century is mainly divided into two types:one is the development model established by the early development of the 20th century with"architects as the core driving force for industrial development";Developed and established in the middle and late 20th century,the development model of "funiture designers as the core driving force for industrial development".
