The Application And Exploration Of Freehand Sketching Pattern In Women Dressing Designing

Modern women's full dress designs mostly feature embroidery,beading,intarsia and dyeing.Nevertheless,the hand-painted pattern,full of spiritual and human touch,which is able to present the designers' intentions better,is rarely seen.Owing to its characteristics of free expression and limited production,the hand-painted pattern can reflect more artistic values and higher fashion tastes.Based on analysis of presentation styles and artistic features of hand-painted patterns,this paper proposes a series of creative thoughts and plenty of design practice from several aspects as followed: theme presentation and choice and material,color design,arrange of composition and fabric selection;1 the theme presentations and content can be exploited from Buddha figures,folk customs and nature.2 Color designs of hand-painted patterns can originate from otherworldly Zen,colorful folks and great nature;3 the proper decoration positions of hand-painted patterns can be determined through analysis of dress style,human body curve and dynamic change.4Varied painting techniques such as flat coating,color painting,rendering and splash-ink can be applied for different fabric materials,in order to produce different visual effects and illustrate design themes better.By means of study of above research,the writer aims at exploiting more applications of hand-painted patterns in women's dress design,for reference and reviews of peers.
