An Application Study Of Six Sigma Method In The Coal Quality Management Of XH Coal Mine

The state of the coal industry is desperate in recent years because the structure of energy consumption is adjusted and backward companies are eliminating more quickly.Meanwhile,driving force of coal consumption is still insufficient.Improving coal quality management level has become an important way for coal enterprises to enhance their competitiveness and cope with the current situation of coal economic development.It is a subject worthy of study to set up the target of coal quality management of enterprises and to plan,organize and improve coal quality management reasonably and effectively by making use of scientific quality management theory and method.The Six Sigma method is used to manage the coal quality of the XH mineral company based on DMAIC improvement model.The role of the Six Sigma method in coal quality management is discussed in detail.First,Three key coal quality problems including the iron problem,gangue ratio of gross coal and coal ash problem are defined.Secondly,on the premise of the effectiveness and accuracy of the measurement system determined by MSA,related data are collected to analyze the process capacity of the process of clean coal production with process capacity method.In the analysis stage,the key factors affecting the coal quality are identified by using causality diagram,causality matrix and FMEA.Based on the key factors identified,several measures are carried out,such as equipment upgrading,establishing the responsibility system,improving the management,optimizing the parameters of the test design and so on.Some lean tools including TPM and Standard Operation are adopted.Finally,in order to maintain the good results,key control points of processes or results are established,and subsequent control plan is worked out.The process of six sigma project suggests that this method can help to solve the practical problems of the enterprise.Quality problem can be solved more scientifically and systematically.Six Sigma method provides a new way for coal companies to manage coal quality.The management mode of the coal company is also influenced from the point of idea.
