Carbon emissions are one of the important causes of climate change, and have now brought great negative impacts on human beings such as production and life, and future development. How to reduce carbon emissions has become a hot topic in society.Carbon emissions studies show that carbon emissions from agricultural production are one of the main sources of greenhouse gases. Therefore,in order to alleviate global warming,we should start with reducing carbon emissions. In addition,as far back as ten years ago,China has publicly issued a statement in the world. All industries, including agriculture, and related departments must work together to achieve the goal of reducing carbon emissions. The target of China’s total carbon emissions will be as of next year.Compared with 2005,carbon emissions are reduced by 40%-45%.Since planting is the agricultural sector with the most human intervention, the carbon emissions of agriculture are mainly derived from the carbon emissions of the crop industry. The crop industry is characterized by ecological fragility and is a weak industry in agriculture.Extreme climate change can have a huge impact on crop production, such as reduced crop yields and food shortages. These effects will lead to changes in human society, ecology, and economy. Therefore,we should start from the analysis of the factors affecting carbon emissions. The premise of the research is to correctly grasp the development status of carbon emissions in crop farming.Based on the analysis of carbon emissions from planting industry in Hubei Province from 1999 to 2017,this paper establishes the carbon emission factor decomposition model and life cycle model of crop production, from the production efficiency of crop production, the industrial structure of agricultural production, and the development of agricultural economy. The level and the scale of human labor have examined the direction and extent of the impact of crop carbon emissions.I hope this paper can reduce carbon emissions for the growing crop industry in Hubei Province and solve the carbon emissions between crops and agricultural economic development. The issue of uncoordinated development provides a favourable basis.
