| In modern life, people spend most of their time indoors, and indoor air pollution has a greater impact on human health. In this study, two typical indoor emission sources, printing and smoking, were used as entry points.ELPI+,ozone real-time monitors,GC-MS and other instruments were used to sample and monitor particulate matter, ozone and volatile organic compounds in printing and smoking rooms. The effects of smoking behavior on indoor particulate matter and VOCs,ozone, and the health risks of human respiratory pathways in print rooms and smoking room VOCs.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)The concentration and mass concentration of PM1.0,PM1.0-2.5,and PM2.5-10during printing or smoking were significantly higher than those without printing or smoking.Printing or smoking had a significant effect on the distribution of indoor particulate matter. The number of different particle sizes in the printing and smoking rooms is concentrated in the nucleation mode and the Aitken nuclear mode. The mass of different particle sizes in the printing room is concentrated in the accumulation mode and the coarse particle mode, and the different sizes in the smoking room. The mass of the particles is concentrated in the coarse particle mode. The volume and air exchange rate in the printing and smoking rooms have an effect on the distribution of indoor particles. The type of printer has an influence on the distribution of particles in the printing chamber.(2)The OC mass concentration of different particle size particles in each printing and smoking room is higher than the EC mass concentration, and the volume of the printing room and the smoking room has an influence on the concentration of the carbonaceous substance. The ratio of OC/EC in each printing room and smoking room fluctuated greatly. The size of the indoor space and the printer model had little effect on the particle size distribution of carbonaceous materials.(3)VOCs in the printing room and smoking room air have the largest number of alkanes and their derivatives, and the types of olefins and their derivatives are not much different from those of aromatic hydrocarbons and their derivatives.Oxygenated organics such as aldehydes and ketones are also important components in printing exhaust gases and cigarette smoke. The TVOC in each printing room did not exceed the standard, but more types of toxic and harmful substances were detected in the printing room.In the presence of cigarette smoke, the relatively closed smoking simulation room TVOC concentration far exceeds the limit requirements in the Indoor Air Quality Standard.(4)The types and concentrations of VOCs emitted by different printers are different.Higher concentrations of materials in the printing environment include alkanes, alkenes, aromatic hydrocarbons, alcohols, ketones, esters, and the like. The types and concentrations of VOCs in the smoke of ordinary smoke and electronic cigarettes are different. In ordinary cigarette smoke, the highest concentration of isoprene was detected, and the mass concentration of propylene, acetone, propane, methyl ethyl ketone and other substances followed closely;the main organic matter in electron smoke was ethanol, and the concentration of ethanol was much higher than the concentration of the remaining VOCs species.(5)Printing and smoking have an impact on indoor ozone distribution. The simulated indoor O3 concentration was 2.75 ppb before printing, and the indoor O3concentration was up to 23.5 ppb during printing. The simulated indoor ozone concentration before smoking was 4.05 ppb,and the simulated indoor concentration reached 4560.62 ppb during smoking. There is no significant difference in the distribution of indoor ozone under different working conditions of printers. The difference in ozone distribution between ordinary cigarettes and electronic cigarettes is obvious. The atomization of electronic cigarettes is not as good as the distribution of ozone in ordinary cigarettes. The indoor volume and air exchange rate have little effect on the distribution of ozone in printing and smoking rooms.(6)The respiratory route of indoor VOCs is not a carcinogenic risk;although the risk of carcinogenesis of a single volatile organic substance through breathing is small, the respiratory pathway of TVOC has a certain cancer risk.In the simulated smoking room, the carcinogenic risk and non-carcinogenic risk of VOCs in common cigarette smoke are large, the carcinogenic risk value is up to 7.42×10-3>1.0×10-4,and the non-carcinogenic risk value is up to 39.36>1;VOCs have certain cancer risk, and there is no risk of cancer, indicating that ordinary cigarette smoke has a greater impact on human health than VOCs in electronic smoke. |
