People spend most of their time indoor so the indoor air quality affects the quality of human life,human health and work efficiency.300 kinds of air pollutants which will be breathed in and accumulate in human’s body so that they do harm to the human health can be detected.Indoor air pollution will lead to some diseases of respiratory and blood system.Indoor air pollution is one of the top ten threats to the human health according to the World Health Report in 2002 published by the World health Organization.Therefore it has great significance to research on the indoor air quality of China.Firstly,This paper analyzes the source,current situation,feature,harmfulness and factors(meteorological factors,transport and human activities)of indoor fine particulate matter(PM2.5),carbon dioxide,ozone and radon pollution of different regions in China a large number of literatures.Then,it study the relationship between indoor PM2.5 concentration and meteorological factors,transport and human activities using the data of indoor and outdoor PM2.5concentration,meteorology.Finally,it draws a conclusion about the study result and points out the shortcoming of recent research on the indoor air pollution of our country and some advice to prevent the pollution.The study is divided into two following parts:(1)Indoor PM2.5(1)Three main factors that affect the indoor PM2.5 concentration are outdoor air quality,meteorology and human activities.(2)The influence of outdoor air pollution is most significant for example,the vehicle exhaust and industrial waste gas which flow into rooms through gaps of the doors and windows which make indoor air quality worse.(3)The order about the correlation between meteorological factors and indoor PM2.5 concentration is as follows:daily average relative humidity,sunlight intensity,daily average pressure,daily average air speed and daily mean temperature.(4)Human activities are also a huge source of indoor air pollution,such as cooking,smoking and sweeping.(5)Ventilation is the best and most convenient way to reduce the indoor air pollution,but if the concentration of outdoor PM2.5 reaches 200μg/m3,it will lead to indoor air pollution.It recommends to use the air purifier if it is affordable as the filtering device of it can reduce the air pollution significantly.(2)Indoor carbon dioxide,ozone and radon pollution(1)The main reasons which cause the indoor air pollution are poor ventilation and high popularity.It can low down the indoor carbon dioxide concentration in a short time with natural and mechanical ventilation.It will do harm to the human health and affect the outdoor air quality if the ozone concentration is high.(2)The main sources of indoor ozone pollution in our country are outdoor ozone and the use of electronic devices and ozone generators.The influence factors are the outdoor ozone concentration,the air exchange rate and the ozone decay rate.(3)The indoor radon pollution is severer in our country because of the great expansion of real estate.The way to reduce the radon air pollution is to control the radon sources,choose the foundation and construction which contain low concentration of radon,strength the ventilation and reduce the indoor gas combustion.
