Polypropylene wax and nano-SiO2 were used as hydrophobic modification materials to treat the fast-growing poplar wood to prepare high-performance sanitary furniture materials.After hydrophobic treatment,the prepared hydrophobic wood has different improvement in pollution resistance,acid and alkali corrosion resistance,dry heat and damp heat resistance,water absorption,mechanical properties,wear resistance and other physical and chemical properties compared with poplar wood materials.And improve,can meet the requirements of materials standards for bathroom furniture.Firstly,the single factor test was used to investigate the effects of nano-SiO2 addition,treatment temperature,treatment time and hot pressing temperature on the contact angle of hydrophobic wood,and the range of various factors was determined.The orthogonal experiment was used to study the influence of various process factors on the contact angle.The results show that when the addition amount of nano-SiO2 is=1%,treatment time=30 min,treatment temperature=140?,hot pressing temperature=125?,the hydrophobic properties of the hydrophobic wood are the best,and the contact angle reaches 139.6°.The surface morphology and XRD analysis of the hydrophobic wood showed that the pores on the surface of the wood were blocked by the hydrophobic material,and the surface of the hydrophobic wood formed a pore roughness of a micro-nano-like flower-like structure that can capture a large amount of air,which reduced the contact between the water droplets and the wood.The surface area gives the hydrophobic properties of the wood.The hydrophobic wood still has the diffractive characteristics of lignocellulose,which indicates that the treatment process does not damage the crystal structure of the wood;the nano-SiO2 crystal peak appears on the surface of the hydrophobic wood,indicating that the nano-SiO2 penetrates into the wood better and constitutes hydrophobic wood.Micro-nano roughness structure.Refer to GB/T 24977-2010 "Bathroom Furniture"5.4.1 for the study of the pollution resistance,acid and alkali corrosion resistance,dry heat and humidity resistance and impact resistance of hydrophobic wood for bathroom furniture.The standards stipulate that the requirements for the use of bathroom furniture should be met.By studying the water absorption and mechanical properties of hydrophobic wood,the results show that the 24 h water absorption rate of hydrophobic wood is only 9.79%,the ultimate water absorption rate is only 19.57%;the air dry density,end surface hardness,bending strength of hydrophobic wood,The compressive strength and elastic modulus of the grain were 0.86 g/cm3,3423.1 N,108.545/MPa,52.919/MPa?and 12.712/GPa,respectively.By studying the self-cleaning properties,wear resistance and gluing properties of hydrophobic wood,it is found that the surface of the hydrophobic wood has self-cleaning function;the contact angle of the hydrophobic wood remains above 1300 after 30 cycles of friction,which has good resistance.Grinding performance;and the shear strength of hydrophobic wood is 8.82 MPa,the wood breaking rate is 79%,and it has good gluing performance.Taking hydrophobic wood as raw material,the design and production of the bathroom cabinet sample plan was carried out,and the production process was recorded in detail.
