Since the reform and opening up,China's economy has developed rapidly, but the enormous environmental costs can not be ignored. The destruction of ecological environment has become the short-board and bottleneck restriction of building a well-off society, affecting social stability and public health.Fine particulate matter(PM2.5),as the main component of air pollution, involves a wide range of people,is destructive and difficult to control. In order to control vacancy pollution and haze scientifically and effectively, this paper analyses the current situation of air pollution and industrial structure in big cities of China, explores the impact of socio-economic factors on air pollution, and puts forward suggestions on air pollution and haze in big cities of China. This has important guiding significance for air pollution control in big cities in China. This paper selects air pollution data, industrial structure data and economic development data of Beijing?north China?,Harbin?northeast China?,Nanchang?east China?and Chengdu?southwest China?from 2015 to 2017 for empirical analysis. After cleaning the air pollution data,GARCH model was used to model the fine particulate matter(PM2.5)index of four cities, and the conditional mean value and conditional variance were obtained to analyze the current situation of air pollution data. The paper adopts the deviation share analysis method to analyze the rationalization of the industrial structure of China's big cities, and systematically analyzes the current situation of haze pollution in China's big cities to connect with the industrial structure. The fixed effect model and quantile regression were used to empirically analyze the relationship between population size, economic development, traffic factors, green construction and industrialization level on air pollution status and haze phenomenon in big cities. The results show that the air pollution and haze phenomenon in Beijing,Harbin,Nanchang and Chengdu have been gradually alleviated in 2015-2017,and Nanchang has the best air quality. The concentration of fine particulate matter(PM2.5)in Beijing,Harbin and Chengdu presents the phenomenon of sustainability and fluctuating clustering. The persistence of fine particulate matter(PM2.5)concentration indicates that the haze pollution itself dissipates slowly, and the fluctuating clustering indicates that the haze changes sharply and is prone to extreme pollution. The concentration of fine particulate matter(PM2.5)in Nanchang city did not show the phenomenon of sustainability and fluctuation clustering.Beijing and Chengdu need to increase the added value of the tertiary industry?service industry?.For example, less developed cities around Beijing need to transfer enterprises that have adopted fixed production mode,so as to alleviate air pollution and haze phenomenon while ensuring the rationality of industrial structure.Harbin and Nanchang should promote the agglomeration of population and industry and expand the scale of the city.Actively absorb the extra labor force engaged in the service industry in the surrounding prefecture-level cities, and promote the correlation between the secondary industry?manufacturing?and the tertiary industry?service?.Beijing,Harbin,Nanchang and Chengdu all need to improve their own economic efficiency and economic efficiency and alleviate the pollution situation through the transformation to the modern service industry, and transfer some lightly polluted industries to the surrounding prefectural-level cities to form a specialized urban agglomeration. The size of urban population, the GDP of the whole city and the urbanization rate have a positive impact on the air pollution and haze phenomenon in big cities, while the green coverage rate has a negative impact on the air pollution and haze phenomenon in big cities. The increase in the level of industrialization?the proportion of the added value of the secondary industry in GDP?will lead to the increase in the degree of urban pollution. The increase of car ownership leads to the increase of exhaust emissions and the concentration of mixed pollutants.According to the results of empirical analysis and combined with the experience of haze control in big cities of developed countries, reasonable policy Suggestions are put forward for air pollution control in big cities of China from the perspective of urban scale and economic development.
