Design And Application Of Color Management Process Based On Paper Packaging Printing

In the process of color image printing and reproduction,in order to achieved the goal of uniform color from scanning,display and output to printing,standardized processing and data-based color management were required,which requires a set of standardized processes.Paper packaging printing was different from books,periodicals and commercial printing in terms of technological process,printing equipment,paper and ink used.Therefore,the study on color management of paper packaging printing had a strong guiding significance for practical production.The main purpose of this paper was to establish a set of standard operation and implementation scheme for paper packaging printing color management system.The main content of the paper was as follows:(1)Combined the research and application status of color management at home and abroad,this paper expounded the necessity of color management based on paper packaging printing,and discussed the significance and purpose of this paper.(2)Combined with the color space of the color management system,the ICC feature file and the color management module(CMM),the paper explored the color management principle of paper packaging,and expounded the color management technology suitable for paper packaging printing.(3)Based on the research status at home and abroad and the basic principles of printing color management,designed and implemented the color management scheme in combination with a paper packaging and printing enterprise.This paper studied and analyzed the three parts of equipment standardization program,pre-press color management program flow,and printing color management program,and studied the standard operation during equipment calibration and the standard operation during equipment characterization.Firstly,the paper type,quantity and number of screen line were used as variables to analyze the data of printing samples,and the printing dot expansion curve and printing plate linearization curve were established.Then the preset printing characteristic curve was established through the test of ink balance plate,ink balance test and color management measurement plate.At last,the feasibility of this scheme was verified through product testing,and the process of color management scheme was improved and standardized.The results showed that the color management scheme designed in this paper optimized the standardized operation process of pre-press and printing press,better matches printing and digital proofing,improvesd the color quality and production efficiency of printing,and saved production cost.In summary,aimed at the paper,ink and printing process parameters were commonly used by enterprises,the implementation scheme of color management was designed,the printing process conditions were standardized,and a set of standardized printing process was established,so that the color management system of printing presses was in an optimized working state.The production and application showed that the color management scheme of paper packaging printing was scientific and reasonable,strong operability and good effect in practical application.
