Innovative Application Of Shandong Folk Printed Fabric In Fashion Design

Shandong folk stenciling printing and dyeing has a long history and has formed obvious regional characteristics and style features in the long term development,with simple pattern design form,brilliant and rich colors,various themes implying auspiciousness.And its strong folk flavor has always been liked by a lot of people.With the development of advanced printing and dyeing technology,Shandong folk stenciling calico has gradually faded out people's vision and life.However,the traditional cultural moral it carries and its special decorative pattern and printing and dyeing craftsmanship always radiate with special art charming.Calico,as a very important content of intangible cultural heritage of Shandong province,should combine with the trend of modern aesthetics to explore its brand new expression form and reproduce its artistic style.Inheriting and promoting are the main study goals of this paper.It divides into three parts.The first section analyzes its regional characteristics and categories from the historical development and reform of Shandong folk stenciling calico.The second section studies the expression style of Shandong stenciling calico from the aspects of common pattern themes and their moral,structure,and color,etc.The third section mainly studies how to use the patterns and decorative style of Shandong folk stenciling calico for the innovative application in clothing design.The innovative forms of Shandong folk stenciling printing style are mainly reproduced from the aspects of color,pattern fabric and craftsmanship.This study generalizes the application status and prospects of future development of traditional pattern of Shandong folk stenciling calico and reveals the innovative application of Shandong stenciling calico in modern clothing through 45 sets of fashion designs of 15 series and different themes.Practical creation is carried out from the aspects of maintaining the original pattern and style,deconstructing the pattern elements,group design,innovating the application scope of fabric materials,etc.
