The pattern-machine system of industrial sewing machine is a multi-functional multitechnology intelligent control system integrating electronic technology,software engineering technology,mechanical design and manufacturing technology and industrial automation technology.At present,with the continuous development of science and technology,the labor cost of China's sewing industry is also rising.The main reason is that the degree of automation of sewing equipment in China is lower than other countries,and the main sewing task of the pattern machine is carried out according to the pattern file.The traditional method of making pattern files is to use the manual measurement and computer-aided design to draw the basic pattern,then use other three-party pattern file editing software to process and export to the plate cutter for sewing.This operating mode requires a high level of manual labor,and it is easy to cause human error in the measurement process.Therefore,in order to solve these problems,I studied a lot of related digital image processing technology,explores various possible solutions using machine vision,and finally puts forward an automatic generation algorithm of pattern files using digital image processing technology and image vectorization technology.In image contour extraction,based on image matting theory,this paper finds an accurate target contour from the edge of the buckle map.In image vectorization,based on polygon vector lines,cubic spline curve is used to smooth the corner.Finally,the above algorithm is programmed and implemented.The experimental results show that the target contour extraction algorithm based on Matting can extract the contour of the desired target well,which is extracted contour is clean and smooth and which basically meet the requirements of sewing equipment.In the process of image vectorization,the vector contour extracted by cubic spline curve also has relatively regular and smooth edges,and the vectorization algorithm of this paper has time advantage over other algorithms.In this article,the problem of high degree of human participation in the way of obtaining the current sewing equipment pattern file is studied in detail,and a new algorithm for automatically extracting the target contour by using machine vision and digital image processing is proposed.The algorithm has been improved from the contour extraction and vectorization speed,which is of great significance for practical applications.
