As Chinese social economy developing rapidly, demand for land is growing. Some unreasonable exploitation of land, combined with impact of natural factors led to the emergence of disaster problems. Therefore, using land resources rationally and safely is increasingly important. This paper uses GIS technology to simulate the flood disaster as well as evaluate the susceptibility of debris flow geological disasters.Based on this, the standards of land use safety are constructed, and the pattern of land use safety is optimized. The main contents and conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)Through the analysis of disaster-inducers,this paper identifies risks currently faced by study area.Based on land use quantity structure and land use space layout, land use status of the study area is analyzed and land use characteristics of study area are summarized. With reference to various types of documentation, such as hydrological and geological data 、 related disaster-inducers and some report of disasters in surrounding villages, combined with villager interview, this paper identifies that potential disasters in Chaoyanggou Village are mainly flood disasters and debris flow geological disasters.(2)Based on SCS-CN model and GIS technology, simulation of runoff and flood submergence are carried out in the study area.Using the data of precipitation, soil and land use, this paper determines the parameters of the SCS-CN model to simulate the runoff under different precipitation conditions. Moreover, the degree of flood inundation under different rainfall durations is simulated by ArcGIS software and the risk levels of flood disaster in Chaoyanggou Village are divided. The result shows that the areas with the highest risk of flood disasters are located in along Nanming River and distributed in the shape of strips.(3)According to inducers of debris flow disasters,an evaluation system for the susceptibility of debris flow geological disasters is constructed.By analyzing relevant literature, this paper selectes 10 indicators from the four aspects of geology, topography, soil and human activities.Based on this,Analytic hierarchy process and comprehensive index method are used to construct the susceptibility evaluation system of debris flow geological hazard. This paper uses the evaluation system to classify the geological disaster susceptibility grade. The result indicates that about 90% of all land use types of Chaoyanggou villages are distributed in extremely low-prone areas and low-prone areas. This shows that most of the land types are safe, but a small part is still facing the threat of geological disasters.(4)Based on some requirements, this paper constructes land use safety standards for cultivated land, forest land and construction land.Using ArcGIS software to compare the land use status with the flood disaster hazard map, this paper finds that the areas with high risk levels are mainly construction land, especially rural residential areas.Furthermore, this paper compares the land use status map with the debris flow disaster zoning map as well as analyze them. The result shows that extremely high-prone areas are mainly bare land、forest land and other construction land.On this basis, this paper optimizes the pattern of land use safety in the study area, and tries to propose countermeasures for disaster prevention and mitigation.
