Nature reserves are currently the most effective way to conserve natural resources and biodiversity. At the regional level, due to various unreasonable factors in the early construction of the protected area, the vacancies in the protection of biodiversity in the protected area are also caused.Located in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River in China,Jiangxi Province has a superior ecological environment and is a typical region of biodiversity and natural ecology.Studying the vacancies in the nature reserve is of great value and significance to the construction of natural ecological protection network and regional biodiversity conservation in Jiangxi Province. This dissertation uses the Landsat8 image interpretation data(land cover)of Jiangxi Province and the province’s traffic, administrative boundaries and the province’s forest ecosystem nature reserve vector data, using the InVEST model habitat quality module to calculate the province’s habitat degradation index and biodiversity. The sex index, combined with the distribution of existing protected areas, analyzed the habitat degradation degree and the current status of biodiversity in the nature reserves and counties of Jiangxi Province.Set the average of the Habitat Degradation Index and the Biodiversity Index of the counties and towns that have been constructed as protected areas,as a measure of the counties and cities in the unconstructed nature reserve,so as to explore the areas where the nature reserves of Jiangxi Province protect the vacancies.,Concluded as follow:(1)Analysis of habitat degradation degree and biodiversity of protected areas shows that in 38 forest ecosystems in Jiangxi Province, the level of habitat degradation is basically non-degraded,mildly degraded, moderately degraded and highly degraded. The number of nature reserves is 12,13,9 and 4.Overall,the overall level of habitat degradation in protected areas in Jiangxi Province is low,and habitat degradation is less likely. In terms of biodiversity abundance, the number of biodiversity richness is excellent, good and the number of general protected areas is20,14 and 4,indicating that the biodiversity of nature reserves in Jiangxi Province is rich.(2)Analysis of habitat degradation and biodiversity of counties and cities in Jiangxi Province showed that habitat degradation in 24 counties and cities in theprovince was basically non-degraded;55 habitats in the county were mildly degraded, indicating habitats in Jiangxi Province. It is in good condition and has the basis for the construction of protected areas;the degradation levels of habitats in 13 counties are moderately degraded;the degradation levels of habitats in 8 counties are severely degraded. The biodiversity levels of 10 counties in the province are excellent.Except for the unconstructed nature reserves in Dexing City, the remaining 9 counties and cities have already constructed nature reserves;56 counties and urban biodiversity levels As for the good,it shows that the biodiversity of the county and above is higher in the provinces and above;the biodiversity level of the 24 counties is medium;the biodiversity level of the 10 counties is poor.(3)Set the habitat degradation index of the unplanned protected area county area to be smaller than the average value of the constructed nature reserve, and the biodiversity index is greater than the average value. The county and urban areas that meet one of the conditions belong to the natural protection of Jiangxi Province.Vacant area.16 districts including Fengxin,Tonggu,Xunwu,Wuyuan,Anyuan,Yihuang,Dayu,Dingnan,Yixian,Dexing,Shicheng,Le’an,Wanli,Yifeng,Xiangdong and Changjiang It is a vacant area for nature reserves in Jiangxi Province;among the9 counties and districts of Tonggu,Wuyuan,Anyuan,Yihuang,Dayu,Dingnan,Qixian,Dexing and Le’an,meeting the conditions of vacant areas in protected areas can be treated as a Carry out important areas for the construction of protected areas.
