| Roller is an important spare part of the rolling machine.It has the characteristics of large shape specifications,high machining accuracy,and complex shape structure.It also has different shapes depending on the rolling line of the rolling mill.Therefore,the cutting process of the roll is compared with the normal parts processing.Has a high technical difficulty.To solve the technical problem of cutting roll is the most critical link in roll production.In this paper,the research status and future development trend of roll manufacturing technology are summarized,and the key problems in roll processing are analyzed based on the structure characteristics and processing process.This paper takes the example of two kinds of different shapes of roller in our company’s actual roller manufacturing.In the case of roller manufacturing enterprises without a CNC processing center,we break the conventional processing plan,design a reasonable milling process route,and select a suitable performance machine tool.The milling optimization process of two kinds of heterogeneous rolls,the cross head and the large symmetrical 90 ° keyway,has been successfully designed.After practical processing,the process has obvious advantages in quality and efficiency.After the test,the optimized processing process is in full compliance with the technical requirements,and the research has achieved the expected results.The research and production practice of roller milling are summarized in this paper,which provides an empirical basis for the future processing of roller of different types. |
