Serious soil and water loss is prevalent in the southwest karst area,which prevents social economy development.For this reason,China has implemented a series of projects on ecological engineering and achieved initial results.However,a standardized Karst rocky desertification control technology system has not been formed,lacking comprehensive evaluation method of benefits.Based on the demand of ecological civilization construction in China,this paper summarizes the technology of rocky desertification management and establishes the list of it.According to the experience and the research results,using research methods such as clustering analysis,frequency statistics analysis,analytic hierarchy process and expert consultation,an evaluation model of comprehensive benefits of rocky desertification control were built and it was used to evaluate the benefits of rock desertification control in small watersheds at Xichou County in Yunnan Province.The main research results are as following:(1)Through paper reading and data consulting,a list of rocky desertification control technologies has been established with 65 technologies.Among them,there’s 24 engineering technologies,17 biological technologies,13 tillage technologies,other 11 technologies and 5 typical mode,which provides a technical support for the management of fragile ecosystem in the karst area.(2)An integrated benefit evaluation system on rocky desertification management with the methods of expert consultation,frequency statistics analysis and clustering analysis was presented.The system includes 4 levels and 22 evaluation indicators.Among them,the ecological benefits are divided into four elements:hydrological factor,soil factor,biological factor and human factor,including 10 indicators;Economic benefits are divided into three elements:agricultural factors,other industrial factors and comprehensive factors,including 6 indicators;Social benefit is divided into two elements:development and cultural quality,including 6 indicators.We establish the evaluation model through constructing the judgment matrix and determining the weight of each evaluation indicator,on the basis of the clustering analysis.(3)Taking the Sanguang watershed as the case study area,the basic data was collected through household surveys and field monitoring,the integrated benefits were evaluated by using the evaluation model that was established in this study.The results show that the rocky desertification control in the case study area has achieved good integrated benefits,and the score of integrated benefit has increased from 1 in 2013 to 1.77 in 2018,among which the ecological benefit was the most significant.
