The Urban Landscape Public Toilet Design Based On User Research

With the continuous advancement of society,people’s requirements for the perfection of urban public facilities in cities have gradually increased.The landscape public toilet is a public toilet with functions of display and use.It is an infrastructure that reflects the details of urban services.In urban public facilities,the rational layout of public toilets,the achievement of the sanitary environment and the improvement of the overall service function are emphasis which focus on caring users,and also the reference standard for measuring the overall culture of the city.At present,there are many problems in the actual use of urban public toilets in China,and the experience of use needs to be improved.In order to improve the image of the city and the experience of public toilets,solve the problems,such as the existing public toilets cannot match the use environment and the use requirements.From the perspective of product design,this study attempts to investigate the status of urban public toilets in many cities of China,deeply analyze the existing problems and propose reasonable solutions combing with the current situation of the city.Analyze and study urban public toilets and their user types through literature analysis,summarize the design principles of urban landscape public toilets under the perspective of product design;analyze the factors such as the use environment,supporting facilities and internal space of traditional public toilets through field surveys,questionnaire surveys,interviews,etc.,and obtain design concepts through keyword analysis to guide design.Through ergonomics to evaluate the scheme,and complete the improved design of landscape public toilets.This paper perfects the research of urban landscape public toilet design,puts forward the design principle of urban landscape public toilet under the product design angle,and provides a new perspective and reference of product design for urban public facilities design and application research.
