Construction Of Cultural Heritage Corridor Based On Ecological Restoration

Cultural heritage is the treasure of world civilization and the witness and memory of human history.With the progress of society and the improvement of people’s spiritual and cultural life,cultural heritage has been paid more and more attention.However,a special form of cultural heritage,the corridor of cultural heritage,has been destroyed because of its lack of modern functions,which hinders the process of urban expansion.In addition to historical factors,changes in modern climate and human misconduct,the ecological environment of the corridor area of cultural heritage is also damaged.The ecological environment,which could serve as a foil for the corridors of cultural heritage,has gradually become a hidden danger of the destruction of cultural sites.Based on ecological restoration,this paper summarizes the techniques and methods of ecological restoration by analyzing the development process,research results and successful cases at home and abroad,and draws lessons from the concepts of "matrix","corridor" and"patch" in landscape ecology,and combining the Planning Method of Cultural Heritage Protection at Home and Abroad in the Past 20 Years,explores five major plates of cultural heritage corridor construction.——"Ecological basement,green corridor,site node,slow-moving system and interpretation system,and divided into functional areas.This paper clarifies the foundation and content of cultural heritage corridor construction,establishes the objectives,contents and methods of ecological restoration of cultural heritage corridor,and summarizes the ecological design strategies of cultural heritage corridor construction.On the basis of ecological restoration,a series of landscape measures such as scenic spots,slow walks and popular science commentary system are completed to realize the construction of cultural heritage corridors.Finally,taking the ancient Great Wall site area along Datong City in Shanxi Province as the research object,and restoring the ecological environment of the ancient Great Wall area as the starting point,a comprehensive cultural heritage corridor integrating ecological experience,cultural popularization and outdoor leisure is constructed through the form of surface-line-point,overlapping from macro to micro,and gradually deepening.
