Azulenes are an important class of non-benzene aromatic compounds that are widely used in medicine, pesticides, textiles and fine chemicals.Through the study of azulenes, new research fields are constantly being developed, and traditional synthetic methods are constantly being improved and innovated, thus developing a simpler and more efficient synthesis method to synthesize more complex compounds. The direct functionalization of C-H bond is one of the hot research fields in organic chemistry research in recent years. The study of the direct introduction of other functional groups by high selectivity through the difference in C-H bond activity on the aromatic ring will have very important theoretical and practical significance. In this thesis, guaiazulene was used as the research object, and the Friedel-Crafts alkylation was used as the reaction model to work on the synthesis of guaiazulene derivatives. The specific work is as follows:The first part:through the related literature, the main content of azulene heterocyclic compounds, the synthesis methods, related applications and review. The second part:using guaiazulene as the material, cyclohexanedione and aromatic aldehyde as the alkylating agent, study on the activation functional grouping reaction of sp~2C-H bond of guaiazulene, using L-proline as a catalyst for the alkylation of the1-position C-H bond of guaiazulene, synthesis of a series of new azulene derivatives substituted with dibenzopyran. The third part:using guaiazulene as the material, and aromatic aldehydes as the alkylating agent, study on the activation functional grouping reaction of sp~2C-H bond of guaiazulene, using amberlyst-15 as a catalyst for the alkylation of the 1-position C-H bond of guaiazulene.Efficient synthesis of a series of arylmethane derivatives containing guaiazulene structure.
