| China is a big country in the consumption and trade of copper resources.It has mastered the real use of China's copper resource system,established a theoretical framework and research system for the study of the material flow of copper mineral resources in China,and measured the actual consumption of copper,which helps to find out the copper resources in China.The economic-environmental operation,the construction of a green GDP evaluation system under the new normal economic and social development,the construction of ecological civilization,the circular economy of copper mineral resources,and the strategy of national macroeconomic regulation,adjustment of copper industry structure and economic and social development,planning and policy development provide high quality advice and advice.This paper screened a total of more than 360 customs 6-digit codes for major copper-containing commodities in the United Nations Commodity Trade Statistics Database(UNComtrade),compiled more than 13,000 data from 2000 to 2017,and divided China's copper-containing commodities into six categories and 29 subcategories,and determined the copper-containing coefficient of Chinese coppercontaining commodities,analyzed the Chinese copper-containing commodities in the international The trade flows between China and the external dependence of China's copper resources,and finally calculate the actual consumption of copper in China from 2000 to 2017.The results show that:(1)Due to limited copper resources,the net import volume of China's copper-containing commodities in 2000-2017 showed an overall upward trend,and the dependence on foreign countries was high.The annual is mainly copper ore and its concentrates,refined copper,Imported in the form of scrap copper;among the copper-containing commodities exported,copper products occupy the dominant position,and the largest proportion is wire and cable,home appliances,computers and generators.(2)China imports a large amount of copper resources from the world every year,mainly importing refined copper,copper and copper products from Japan,Kazakhstan,India,South Korea,etc.;importing copper mines from Chile,Peru and other places in South America.Sand and its concentrates and refined copper;imported copper from North America and other places.From 2000 to 2017,the total amount of copper-containing copper materials imported by China from the world was about 11,159,700 tons,and the total amount of copper-containing commercial copper materials exported was about 2,504,800 tons.The copper products exported are all over the world,and the countries with the highest acceptance rate are the United States and Japan.(3)The actual consumption of copper in China showed an overall upward trend from 2000 to 2017.China's technical level in the copper smelting industry has reached the technical level of advanced foreign developed countries,and the loss rate is small,but the loss rate of mineral processing is relatively large.The annual loss in copper ore dressing is also on the rise.After 2006,the actual consumption of copper in China was about 89% of the apparent consumption of refined copper.Based on the above analysis results,the paper gives the following suggestions:(1)China should increase geological survey and exploration of domestic copper resources and increase domestic copper resource reserves.(2)Reducing losses in copper industry beneficiation,developing recycled copper industry,and developing circular economy.(3)Improve the import and export structure of copper-containing commodities,and actively respond to the national “Belt and Road” strategy to achieve diversified sources of copper resources. |
